Cheryl Larden, RN, BSN
Cheryl Larden is a retired Registered Nurse. She worked in hospital settings for more than 25 years in Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, and Maternity. She has worked both as a bedside nurse and as a Clinical Nurse Educator. She now has a private practice. She works at her home office in Langley, B.C. (an easy drive from Vancouver) where she does Therapeutic Touch® sessions. She developed and taught a Therapeutic Touch Practitioner Certificate Program at Langara College in Vancouver and now teaches Therapeutic Touch through Delta Continuing Education in North Delta and other interested groups. Cheryl who studied under Dolores Krieger and Dora Kunz, the originators of Therapeutic Touch, has been practicing Therapeutic Touch since the 1980’s.
Cheryl is offering Therapeutic Touch sessions, courses, and practice groups both in person and via Zoom.
A founding member of the BC Therapeutic Touch Network Society, she has served on the Board of Directors in many capacities including Treasurer, Co-Chair of the Education Committee, President, and Past President. Cheryl has also served as President of Therapeutic Touch Networks of Canada (TTNC) and continues to be actively involved in subcommittees. Cheryl is also a member of Therapeutic Touch International Association (TTIA).
Cheryl performs individual sessions, teaches, and has conducted research in the field of Therapeutic Touch. She is a Recognized Therapeutic Touch Practitioner and Teacher in B.C. and holds and an equivalent designation, Qualified Therapeutic Touch Practitioner and Teacher in the international organization, TTIA.
